Hadith 2793
قَرَأْتُ عَلَى أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي سُرَيْجٍ الرَّازِيُّ ، أَنَّ عَمْرَو بْنَ مُجَمِّعٍ ، أَخْبَرَهُمْ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا كَانَ قَبْلَ التَّرْوِيَةِ بِيَوْمٍ خَطَبَ النَّاسَ وَأَخْبَرَهُمْ بِمَنَاسِكِهِمْ "
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) delivered a sermon to the people one day before Yawm at-Tarwiyah (8th Dhul-Hijjah) and taught them the rites of Hajj.
