(223) بَابُ عَدَدِ حِجَجِ آدَمَ صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَصِفَةِ حَجِّهِ إِنْ صَحَّ الْخَبَرُ فَإِنَّ فِي الْقَلْبِ مِنَ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ هَذَاChapter: Number of times Adam performed Hajj and its description, if the narration is authentic
Hadith 2792
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بِعَبَّادَانَ , حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الأَنْصَارِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنِي الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَازِمٍ وَهُوَ نَبْتُكَ مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِنَّ آدَمَ أَتَى الْبَيْتَ أَلْفَ أَتْيَةٍ لَمْ يَرْكَبْ قَطُّ فِيهِنَّ مِنَ الْهِنْدِ عَلَى رِجْلَيْهِ "
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: "Hazrat Adam (peace be upon him) performed one thousand Hajj of the Sacred House, each time coming on foot from India, and did not ride any mount in any Hajj."
