(204) بَابُ ذِكْرِ الْخَبَرِ الْمُفَسِّرِ لِلَّفْظَةِ الْمُجْمَلَةِ الَّتِي ذَكَرْتُ أَنَّ لَفْظَهَا عَامٌّ مُرَادُهَا خَاصٌّ،Chapter: Clarification of the general term regarding sa‘i between Safa and Marwa
Hadith 2763
قَرَأْتُ عَلَى أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي سُرَيْجٍ الرَّازِيُّ ، أَنَّ عَمْرَو بْنَ مُجَمِّعٍ ، أَخْبَرَهُمْ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا اسْتَوَتْ بِهِ رَاحِلَتُهُ عِنْدَ مَسْجِدِ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ فِي حَجَّةٍ أَوْ عُمْرَةٍ أَهَلَّ " فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ وَقَالَ : " ثُمَّ أَتَى الصَّفَا ، فَسَعَى بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ سَبْعًا ، فَإِذَا مَرَّ بِالْمَسْعَى سَعَى "
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that when the mount of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) would bring him straight to the mosque of Dhul-Hulaifah during his journey for Hajj or Umrah, he would recite the Talbiyah.
