(215) بَابُ ذِكْرِ الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ النَّضْحَ الْمَأْمُورَ بِهِ هُوَ نَضْحٌ مَا لَمْ يُصِبِ الدَّمُ مِنَ الثَّوْبِ.Chapter 215: Evidence that sprinkling is for parts of the garment not touched by blood
Hadith 276
نا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَكِيمٍ ، نا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ ، تُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ جَدَّتِهَا أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتِ امْرَأَةً تَسْأَلُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَتْ : إِحْدَانَا إِذَا طَهُرَتْ كَيْفَ تَصْنَعُ بِثِيَابِهَا الَّتِي كَانَتْ تَلْبَسُ ؟ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنْ رَأَتْ فِيهِ شَيْئًا فَلْتَحُكُّهُ ، ثُمَّ لِتَقْرُصْهُ بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ ، وَتَنْضَحُ فِي سَائِرِ الثَّوْبِ مَاءً وَتُصَلِّي فِيهِ " . نا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَكِيمٍ ، نا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، بِهَذَا مِثْلَهُ ، وَقَالَ : وَقَالَ : " إِنْ رَأَيْتِ فِيهِ دَمًا فَحُكِّيهِ ، ثُمَّ اقْرُصِيهِ بِالْمَاءِ ، ثُمَّ انْضَحِي سَائِرَهُ ، ثُمَّ صَلِّي فِيهِ "
Narrated from Sayyida Asma bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with her) that she heard a woman asking the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him): She said, "When any of us women becomes pure (from menstruation), what should she do with the clothes she used to wear (during the days of menstruation)?" The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "If she sees anything (blood) on them, she should scrape it off, then rub it with a little water, and sprinkle water over the entire garment, and then she may pray in it."
The Imam narrates from his teacher Yahya bin Hakeem and from Ibn ‘Adi, and they from Muhammad bin Ishaq, similar to the above narration. In it are these words: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "If you see blood on it, scrape it off with water, then sprinkle water over the entire garment, then pray in it."
