(174) بَابُ اسْتِلَامِ الْحَجَرِ وَالرُّكْنِ الْيَمَانِي فِي كُلِّ طَوَافٍ مِنَ السَّبْعِChapter: Touching the Black Stone and the Yemeni Corner in each of the seven circuits
Hadith 2723
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الْعَزِيزِ وَهُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي رَوَّادٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، " أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ كَانَ إِذَا طَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ مَسَحَ " ، أَوْ قَالَ : " اسْتَلَمَ الْحَجَرَ ، وَالرُّكْنَ فِي كُلِّ طَوَافٍ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when the Prophet of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed Tawaf of the Sacred House (Baytullah), he would touch or, it is said, perform Istilam of the Black Stone and the Yemeni Corner in every circuit.
