Hadith 2712

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) turned his blessed face towards the Black Stone and performed istilam (touching or kissing) of the Black Stone. Then he placed his lips upon it and wept for a long time. Then he turned and saw that Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) was also weeping. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Umar, tears are shed at this place."
