(153) بَابُ اسْتِحْبَابِ الِاغْتِسَالِ لِدُخُولِ مَكَّةَ، إِذِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اغْتَسَلَ عِنْدَ إِرَادَتِهِ دُخُولَ مَكَّةَChapter: Recommendation to bathe before entering Mecca, as the Prophet did
Hadith 2694
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ يَعْنِي الْحَنَفِيَّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : " أَهَلَّ مَرَّةً مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ مِنْ عِنْدِ الشَّجَرَةِ ، وَأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمَّا جَاءَ ذَا طُوًى بَاتَ حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَ الصُّبْحَ فَاغْتَسَلَ ، ثُمَّ دَخَلَ مِنْ أَعْلَى مَكَّةَ مِنْ كُدًى ، وَخَرَجَ حِينَ خَرَجَ مِنْ كُدًى مِنْ أَسْفَلِ مَكَّةَ "
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that he began reciting the Talbiyah near the tree at Dhul-Hulaifah. And when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) reached the place of Dhi Tuwa, he spent the night there until he performed the morning prayer, then he performed ghusl (ritual bath), then he entered Makkah Mukarramah from its upper side, from Kada’. And when he left Makkah Mukarramah, he exited from its lower side, from Kada’.
