Hadith 2688
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الرَّقِّيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَمْرٍو الرَّقِّيُّ ، عَنْ زَيْدٍ وَهُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ الأَحْمَسِيِّ ، عَنْ أُمِّ الْحُصَيْنِ جَدَّتِهِ ، قَالَتْ : " حَجَجْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَجَّةَ الْوَدَاعِ ، فَرَأَيْتُ أُسَامَةَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ ، وَبِلالا يَقُودُ أَحَدُهُمَا بِخِطَامِ رَاحِلَتِهِ ، وَالآخَرُ رَافِعًا ثَوْبَهُ يَسْتُرُهُ مِنَ الْحَرِّ حَتَّى رَمَى جَمْرَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ "
Sayyidah Umm al-Husayn (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that I performed the Farewell Hajj with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and I saw Sayyiduna Usamah and Bilal (may Allah be pleased with them both). One of them was holding the rein of the camel of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and leading it, while the other was shading him with a cloth to protect him from the heat, until he had stoned the Jamrah ‘Aqabah.
