(124) بَابُ ذِكْرِ الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ الْوَجَعَ الَّذِي وَجَدَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي إِحْرَامِهِ فَاحْتَجَمَ بِسَبَبِهِ عَلَى ظَهْرِ الْقَدَمِ، وَجَدَهُ بِظَهْرِهِ أَوْ بِوَرِكِهِ لَا بِقَدَمِهِChapter: Evidence that the pain for which the Prophet had cupping on his foot was actually in his back or thigh, not his foot
Hadith 2661
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ احْتَجَمَ مِنْ رَهْصَةٍ أَصَابَتْهُ " ، حَدَّثَنَاهُ الزِّيَادِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ خُثَيْمٍ ، قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : فَهَذِهِ الرُّخْصَةُ تُشْبِهُ أَنْ يَكُونَ الْوَثْءُ الَّذِي ذُكِرَ فِي خَبَرِ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ .
In the narration of Ibn Khuthaym, it is mentioned that Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had cupping done due to pain in his foot. Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says that it is possible that this is the same pain because of which he had cupping done, and which is mentioned in the narration of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him).
