Hadith 2649
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ نُبَيْهٍ وَهُوَ ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبَانَ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ : " لا يَنْكِحُ الْمُحْرِمُ ، وَلا يُنْكَحْ " ، قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : خَرَّجْتُ هَذَا الْبَابَ بِتَمَامِهِ فِي كِتَابِ الْكَبِيرِ
Sayyiduna Uthman bin Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: "A person in the state of ihram should neither marry himself nor arrange the marriage (of his daughter, sister, etc.)." Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I have explained this entire chapter in detail in the Kitab al-Kabir.
