Hadith 2636

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he hunted a wild donkey while he was with some people who were in the state of ihram. He informed the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) about this, so he said: "Did you hunt it, or did you help in hunting it, or did you point towards it?" The companions replied, "No." So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then eat its meat."
