Hadith 2630
حَدَّثَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي أُسَامَةُ ، أَنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ ، وَعَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أَبِي لَبِيدٍ ، أَخْبَرَاهُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَمَرَنِي جِبْرِيلُ بِرَفْعِ الصَّوْتِ بِالإِهْلالِ ، فَإِنَّهُ مِنْ شِعَارِ الْحَجِّ " ، قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : خَرَّجْتُ طُرُقَ هَذَا الْخَبَرِ فِي كِتَابِ الْكَبِيرِ
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Jibreel (peace be upon him) ordered me to recite the Talbiyah aloud because it is one of the symbols of Hajj." Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I have mentioned the chains of this hadith in Kitab al-Kabir.
