Hadith 262
نا يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ ، أَنَّ مَالِكًا حَدَّثَهُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِي اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهَا ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : " خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي بَعْضِ أَسْفَارِهِ ، حَتَّى إِذَا كُنَا بِالْبَيْدَاءِ أَوْ بِذَاتِ الْجَيْشِ انْقَطَعَ عِقْدٌ لِي ، فَأَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى الْتِمَاسِهِ ، وَأَقَامَ النَّاسُ مَعَهُ وَلَيْسُوا عَلَى مَاءٍ ، وَلَيْسَ مَعَهُمْ مَاءٌ ، فَأَتَى النَّاسُ إِلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ رَضِي اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ ، فَقَالُوا : أَلا تَرَى إِلَى مَا صَنَعَتْ عَائِشَةُ ؟ أَقَامَتْ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَبِالنَّاسِ وَلَيْسُوا عَلَى مَاءٍ ، وَلَيْسَ مَعَهُمْ مَاءٌ ، فَجَاءَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَاضِعٌ رَأْسَهُ على فَخِذِي قَدْ نَامَ " ، فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ بِطُولِهِ
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that we went with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) on one of his journeys until when we were at the place of Bayda or Dhat al-Jaish, my necklace broke. So the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) stopped to look for it and the people also stopped with him. While they were not at a place of water. So the people came to Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) and said, "Do you not know what Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) has done? She has made the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and the people stop while they are not at a place of water and they do not have water with them." So Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) came while the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) had placed his head on my thigh and had fallen asleep. Then the complete hadith was narrated.
