Hadith 2617
حَدَّثَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ الْيَمَامِيُّ ، قَالا : حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا الأَوْزَاعِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي عِكْرِمَةُ ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ، حَدَّثَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " أَتَانِي اللَّيْلَةَ آتٍ مِنْ رَبِّي وَهُوَ بِالْعَقِيقِ أَنْ صَلِّ فِي هَذَا الْوَادِي الْمُبَارَكِ ، وَقُلْ : عُمْرَةً فِي حَجَّةٍ "
Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "Tonight, an angel from my Lord came to me while you were staying in the valley of ‘Aqiq that night, and said: 'Pray in this blessed valley. And say: "Umrah has been included in Hajj (it is permissible to perform Umrah during the months of Hajj)."' "
