Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade a person in ihram from wearing a shirt, a cloak, and leather socks, but if he does not have shoes, he may wear socks (after cutting them below the ankles), and he forbade wearing trousers and any garment that has been dyed with wars or saffron.
