(76) بَابُ ذِكْرِ الثِّيَابِ الَّذِي زُجِرَ الْمُحْرِمُ عَنْ لُبْسِهَا فِي الْإِحْرَامِ76 Subchapter: Clothes forbidden for the pilgrim in ihram
Hadith 2597
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى الصَّنْعَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْمُفَضَّلِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّ رَجُلا قَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، مَاذَا نَلْبَسُ مِنَ الثِّيَابِ إِذَا أَحْرَمْنَا ؟ فَقَالَ : " لا تَلْبَسُوا الْقُمُصَ ، وَلا السَّرَاوِيلاتِ ، وَلا الْبَرَانِسَ ، وَلا الْعَمَائِمَ ، وَلا الْقَلانِسَ ، وَلا الْخِفَافَ ، إِلا أَحَدٌ لَيْسَتْ لَهُ نَعْلانِ فَيَلْبَسُهُمَا أَسْفَلَ مِنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ ، وَلا تَلْبَسُوا مِنَ الثِّيَابِ شَيْئًا مَسَّهُ وَرْسٌ وَلا زَعْفَرَانٌ " ، وَقَالَ : وَكَانَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، يَقُولُ : " وَلا تَنْقَبُ الْمَرْأَةُ وَلا تَلْبَسُ الْقُفَّازَيْنِ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man asked, "O Messenger of Allah, when we assume Ihram, which clothes should we wear?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not wear a shirt, trousers, a cloak with a hood, a turban, caps, or socks. But if someone does not find shoes, he may wear socks, but he should cut them so that they come below the ankles. And do not wear clothes dyed with wars (a plant) or saffron color." And Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) used to say that a woman in Ihram should neither cover her face with a veil nor wear gloves.
