(74) بَابُ اسْتِحْبَابِ الِاغْتِسَالِ لِلْإِحْرَامِ74 Subchapter: Recommending bathing for ihram
Hadith 2595
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ الْقَطَوَانِيُّ , حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْمَدَنِيُّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ خَارِجَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ : " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَجَرَّدَ لإِهْلالِهِ وَاغْتَسَلَ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) removed his clothes for Ihram (from his blessed body) and performed ghusl (ritual bath), then put on the Ihram.
