Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that a man came to the service of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) while he was about to set out on a journey. He said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), advise me." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "I advise you to adopt the fear of Allah, and to say 'Allahu Akbar' (Allah is the Greatest) when ascending every high place." Then, when that man departed, the Prophet (peace be upon him) made this supplication for him: « اللَّهُمَّ أزْوِلَهُ اْلأرْضَ وَهَوِّنْ عَلَيْهِ السَّفَرَ » "O Allah, fold up the distance of his journey and make his journey easy for him."
