(47) بَابُ كَرَاهِيَةِ سَيْرِ أَوَّلِ اللَّيْلِ47 Subchapter: Dislike of traveling at the beginning of the night
Hadith 2559
حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَقِلُّوا الْخُرُوجَ إِذَا هَدَأَتِ الرِّجْلُ ، إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَبُثُّ فِي لَيْلِهِ مِنْ خَلْقِهِ مَا شَاءَ "
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with both of them) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the feet stop moving, then you should set out from your homes for travel less often. Indeed, Allah Almighty spreads out among His creation whomever He wills during the night."
