Hadith 2535
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ حَفْصِ بْنِ عُمَرَ , وابْنِ مَيْمُونٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ الْيَمَانِ ، عَنْ حَمْزَةَ الزَّيَّاتِ ، عَنْ حُمْرَانَ بْنِ أَعْيَنَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : حَجَّ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَصْحَابُهُ مُشَاةً مِنَ الْمَدِينَةِ إِلَى مَكَّةَ ، وَقَالَ : " ارْبُطُوا أَوْسَاطَكُمْ بِأُزُرِكُمْ " ، وَمَشَى خِلْطَ الْهَرْوَلَةِ
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that when the Prophet (peace be upon him) and his companions performed Hajj, they traveled on foot from Madinah Munawwarah to Makkah Mukarramah. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Tie your lower garments with your waists." And he walked at such a brisk pace that it included running as well.
