Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir al-Juhani رضي الله عنه narrates that the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: "Ghayrah (protective jealousy) is of two types. One is liked by Allah and the other is disliked. In matters where there is a risk of accusation and suspicion, Allah likes ghayrah. And in matters where there is no fear of doubt or accusation, Allah dislikes ghayrah. When a person gives charity and then boasts about it, Allah likes this boldness. But the pride and arrogance that comes from haughtiness, Allah dislikes it." And he صلى الله عليه وسلم said: "The supplication of three people is readily accepted: the supplication of a father (for his children), the traveler, and the oppressed." And he صلى الله عليه وسلم said: "Indeed, because of a single arrow, Allah admits three people into Paradise: the one who makes the arrow, the one who provides it to the warrior, and the warrior who shoots it in the way of Allah."
