(159) بَابُ الْأَمْرِ بِالصَّدَقَةِ مِنَ الثِّمَارِ قَبْلَ الْجِذَاذِ مِنْ كُلِّ حَائِطٍ بِقِنْوٍ يُوضَعُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ.159 Subchapter: Command to give fruit in charity before harvest by placing a bunch in the mosque

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَهْلِ بْنِ عَسْكَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ , عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ : " أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَ مِنْ كُلِّ حَائِطٍ بِقِنْوٍ لِلْمَسْجِدِ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered that a bunch of dates from every orchard be given for the mosque.
