وَحَدَّثَنَا
أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ ، أَنْبَأَنَا
ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا
أَيُّوبُ ، عَنْ
أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ
جَابِرٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ : " إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَقِيرًا ، فَلْيَبْدَأْ بِنَفْسِهِ ، فَإِنْ كَانَ فَضْلا فَعَلَى عِيَالِهِ ، فَإِنْ كَانَ فَضْلا فَعَلَى قَرَابَتِهِ أَوْ ذِي رَحِمِهِ ، فَإِنْ كَانَ فَضْلا فَهُنَا وَهَهُنَا "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When any one of you is in need, he should spend first on himself. If any wealth remains, he should spend on his family. If more wealth remains, he should spend on his close relatives. If there is still surplus wealth, then he should spend on other needy people here and there."
