(117) بَابُ إِيجَابِ صَدَقَةِ الْفِطْرِ عَلَى الصَّغِيرِ خِلَافَ قَوْلِ مَنْ زَعَمَ أَنَّهَا سَاقِطَةٌ عَنْ مَنْ سَقَطَ عَنْهُ فَرْضُ الصَّلَاةِ.117 Subchapter: Zakat al-fitr is due for minors, contrary to those who say it is not
Hadith 2403
حَدَّثَنَا بُنْدَارٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى . ح وَحَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى ، قَالا : حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ، أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : " فَرَضَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَدَقَةَ الْفِطْرِ ، وَقَالَ نَصْرٌ : صَدَقَةَ رَمَضَانَ عَلَى الصَّغِيرِ وَالْكَبِيرِ ، وَالْحُرِّ وَالْعَبْدِ ، صَاعَ تَمْرٍ أَوْ صَاعَ شَعِيرٍ " ، هَذَا حَدِيثُ نَصْرِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ، غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ : عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، وَحَدَّثَنَا الصَّنْعَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عُبَيْدَ اللَّهِ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ نَصْرِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ، وَزَادَ وَالذَّكَرِ وَالأُنْثَى
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) made the giving of Zakat al-Fitr obligatory. In the narration of Janab Nasr, the words "charity of Ramadan" are mentioned. One sa’ of dates or one sa’ of barley is obligatory upon every small child, adult, free person, and slave. This narration is from Janab Nasr bin Ali, but he narrated it with "from" (عن) instead of "informed me" (أخبرني), and in the narration of Janab al-San‘ani, the words "man and woman" are added.
