(103) بَابُ ذِكْرِ تَحْرِيمِ الصَّدَقَةِ عَلَى الْأَصِحَّاءِ الْأَقْوِيَاءِ عَلَى الْكَسْبِ،103 Subchapter: Prohibition of charity for healthy, able-bodied people
Hadith 2387
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَلاءِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، يَبْلُغُ بِهِ : " لا تَحِلُّ الصَّدَقَةُ لِغَنِيٍّ ، وَلا ذِي مِرَّةٍ سَوِيٍّ "
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace be upon him) said: "It is not lawful for a wealthy person and a strong, healthy man to take zakat money."
