Lady Umm Hani (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was staying in the upper part of Makkah on the day of the conquest of Makkah. I came to the Prophet (peace be upon him), and Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) brought a large vessel of water. I said, "I see traces of kneaded dough in it." She says that Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) screened the Prophet (peace be upon him), so he performed ghusl (ritual bath). Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) screened Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him), and he performed ghusl. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) performed eight rak‘ahs of Duha (forenoon) prayer.
