(63) بَابٌ فِي التَّغْلِيظِ فِي الِاعْتِدَاءِ فِي الصَّدَقَةِ وَتَمْثِيلِ الْمُعْتَدِي فِيهَا بِمَانِعِهَا63| Chapter on the stern warning against transgressing in zakat and likening the transgressor to one who withholds it
Hadith 2335
حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْغَافِقِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، وَاللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ ، عَنْ سِنَانِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ الْكِنْدِيِّ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ : " لا إِيمَانَ لِمَنْ لا أَمَانَ لَهُ ، وَالْمُعْتَدِي فِي الصَّدَقَةِ كَمَانِعِهَا "
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "The faith of the one who is not trustworthy is not correct, and the one who commits injustice and excess in the collection of zakat is like the one who does not pay zakat."
