(62) بَابُ ذِكْرِ الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ التَّغْلِيظَ فِي الْعَمَلِ عَلَى السِّعَايَةِ الْمَذْكُورَ فِي خَبَرِ عُقْبَةَ هُوَ فِي السَّاعِي، إِذَا لَمْ يَعْدِلْ فِي عَمَلِهِ وَجَارَ وَظَلَمَ،62| Chapter on the evidence that the warning applies to the collector if he is unjust and oppressive
Hadith 2334
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْوَهْبِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ لَبِيدٍ ، عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْعَامِلُ عَلَى الصَّدَقَةِ بِالْحَقِّ كَالْغَازِي فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ إِلَى بَيْتِهِ "
Sayyiduna Rafi' bin Khadij (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The one who collects Zakat with justice and fairness is like a warrior fighting in the way of Allah, until he returns to his home."
