جماع أبواب صدقة الحبوب والثمارChapters on Zakat of Grains and Fruits
(50) بَابُ السُّنَّةِ فِي خَرْصِ الْعِنَبِ لِتُؤْخَذَ زَكَاتُهُ زَبِيبًا كَمَا تُؤْخَذُ زَكَاةُ النَّخْلِ تَمْرًا50| Chapter on the Sunnah of estimating grapes so their zakat is taken as raisins, as dates are taken from palms
Hadith 2316
حَدَّثَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ التَّمَّارِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، عَنْ عَتَّابِ بْنِ أُسَيْدٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ فِي زَكَاةِ الْكَرْمِ : " تُخْرَصُ كَمَا يُخْرَصُ النَّخْلُ ، ثُمَّ تُؤَدَّى زَكَاتُهُ زَبِيبًا كَمَا تُؤَدَّى زَكَاةُ النَّخْلِ تَمْرًا "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna ‘Attab bin Asid (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said regarding the zakat of grapes: "The estimate of grapes should be made just as the estimate of dates is made, then its zakat should be taken from raisins just as the zakat of fresh dates is taken from dried dates."
