Hadith 2189
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ ، عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْتَمِسُوا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فِي آخِرِ لَيْلَةٍ " . فِي خَبَرِ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ : أَوْ فِي آخِرِ لَيْلَةٍ
Sayyiduna Muawiyah bin Abi Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Seek the Night of Qadr in the last night (of Ramadan)." And in the narration of Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah, it is: "Or in the last night (seek it)."
