Hadith 2147
حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْجَزَرِيُّ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْقُطَعِيُّ ، قَالا : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ حَكَمِ بْنِ حَكِيمِ بْنِ عَبَّادِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ ، عَنْ مَسْعُودِ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ أُمَّهِ أَنَّهَا حَدَّثَتْهُ ، قَالَتْ : كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى عَلِيٍّ عَلَى بَغْلَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْبَيْضَاءِ فِي شِعْبِ الأَنْصَارِ ، وَهُوَ يَقُولُ : أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ ، إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِنَّهَا لَيْسَتْ أَيَّامَ صَوْمٍ ، إِنَّهَا أَيَّامُ أَكْلٍ وَشُرْبٍ "
Hazrat Masood bin Hakam narrates from his mother, she says: It is as if I am seeing Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) riding a white mule with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in the valley of the Ansar, and he was saying: "O people, indeed the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) has said: 'The situation is that these are not days for fasting, indeed these are days for eating and drinking.'"
