Hadith 2119
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي يَزِيدَ وَرَّاقٌ الْفِرْيَابِيِّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي شُرَحْبِيلُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَصُومُ يَوْمَ الاثْنَيْنِ وَالْخَمِيسِ " ، وَيَقُولُ : " إِنَّ هَذَيْنِ الْيَوْمَيْنِ تُعْرَضُ فِيهِمَا الأَعْمَالُ "
Sayyiduna Usamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to fast on Mondays and Thursdays and would say: "On these two days, deeds are presented (before Allah, the Exalted)."
