حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ حَبِيبِ بْنِ الشَّهِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَمَانٍ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ ، عَنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ ، عَنْ سَوَاءٍ الْخُزَاعِيِّ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَصُومُ يَوْمَ الاثْنَيْنِ وَالْخَمِيسِ "
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to fast on Mondays and Thursdays.
