حَدَّثَنَا بَحْرُ بْنُ نَصْرِ بْنِ سَابِقٍ الْخَوْلانِيُّ , حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ , حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ صَالِحٍ , أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أَبِي قَيْسٍ حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَائِشَةَ ، تَقُولُ : كَانَ . . . . . وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ , حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ , عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ , عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَيْسٍ , أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَائِشَةَ ، تَقُولُ : " كَانَ أَحَبَّ الشُّهُورِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَصُومَهُ شَعْبَانُ , ثُمَّ يَصِلُهُ بِرَمَضَانَ "
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) loved to fast in the month of Sha'ban more than in any other month, then he (peace be upon him) would join it with Ramadan.
