Hadith 2073
أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ , أَنَّ ابْنَ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَهُمْ , أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ مَالِكٍ الشَّرْعَبِيُّ , عَنِ ابْنِ الْهَادِ , عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ خَبَّابٍ , عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ ، يَعْنِي : مِثْلَ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ فِي الْوِصَالِ . قَالَ : " فَأَيُّكُمْ وَاصَلَ مِنْ سَحَرٍ إِلَى سَحَرٍ "
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates a hadith from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) similar to the hadith of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) regarding wisal (continuous fasting). He said: "So which one of you has observed wisal from one suhoor to the next suhoor (kept a continuous fast)?"
