Hadith 2067
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَلاءِ , حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ , ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ , حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ كِلاهُمَا , عَنْ عَاصِمٍ , وَحَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ , حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ , حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ , عَنْ حَفْصَةَ بِنْتِ سِيرِينَ , عَنِ الرَّبَابِ , عَنْ عَمِّهَا سَلْمَانَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الضَّبِّيِّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " الصَّدَقَةُ عَلَى الْمِسْكِينِ صَدَقَةٌ , وَهِيَ عَلَى الْقَرِيبِ صَدَقَتَانِ : صَدَقَةٌ , وَصِلَةٌ " وَقَالَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا أَفْطَرَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيُفْطِرْ عَلَى تَمْرٍ , فَإِنَّهُ بَرَكَةٌ , فَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ فَمَاءٌ , فَإِنَّهُ طُهُورٌ " وَقَالَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " اذْبَحُوا عَنِ الْغُلامِ عَقِيقَتَهُ , وَأَمِيطُوا عَنْهُ الأَذَى , وَأَهْرِيقُوا عَنْهُ دَمًا " . هَذَا حَدِيثُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ وَقَالَ الآخَرَانِ : وَقَالَ الآخَرَانِ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا أَفْطَرَ أَحَدُكُمْ ، فَلْيُفْطِرْ عَلَى تَمْرٍ , فَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ ، فَلْيُفْطِرْ عَلَى مَاءٍ , فَإِنَّهُ طُهُورٌ " . وَلَمْ يَذْكُرَا قِصَّةَ الصَّدَقَةِ وَلا الْعَقِيقَةِ
Sayyiduna Sulayman bin Amir Ad-Dabbi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: "Giving charity to a poor person is one charity, while giving charity to a close relative is two charities: one charity and the other maintaining the ties of kinship." And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When any one of you breaks his fast, he should break it with dates, for they are blessed. If he does not find dates, then he should break his fast with water, for it is very pure." And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Slaughter a goat as 'Aqiqah for the child, and remove the filth from him, and shed blood (of the goat) on his behalf (i.e., slaughter it)." This narration is from Abdul Jabbar. In the narrations of the other two teachers, it is mentioned that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When any one of you breaks his fast, he should break it with dates. If he does not find dates, then he should break his fast with water, for it is pure." Both teachers did not mention the story of giving charity and performing 'Aqiqah.
