Hadith 2064
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ , حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ , حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ , ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى الصَّنْعَانِيُّ , حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زُرَيْعٍ , حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ , حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى كِلاهُمَا , عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ , عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ , قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا ، أَوْ جَهَّزَ حَاجًّا , أَوْ خَلَفَهُ فِي أَهْلِهِ ، أَوْ فَطَّرَ صَائِمًا كَانَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أُجُورِهِمْ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يَنْتَقِصَ مِنْ أُجُورِهِمْ شَيْءٌ " . هَذَا حَدِيثُ الصَّنْعَانِيِّ . وَلَمْ يَقُلْ عَلِيٌّ : أَوْ جَهَّزَ حَاجًّا
Sayyiduna Zayd bin Khalid al-Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever equips a warrior (in the cause of Allah) or helps a pilgrim in his preparations or looks after his family after him, or gives food to a fasting person to break his fast, he will have a reward equal to theirs, while nothing will be diminished from their rewards." This hadith is from Janab San‘ani. And in the narration of Janab ‘Ali bin Mundhir, the words "or helps a pilgrim in his preparations" are not present.
