Hadith 2060
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ , حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى , حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو , ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ , حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ . ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الأَحْمَسُ , حَدَّثَنَا الْمُحَارِبِيُّ , عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو , وَعَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَا يَزَالُ الدِّينُ ظَاهِرًا مَا عَجَّلَ النَّاسُ الْفِطْرَ , إِنَّ الْيَهُودَ ، وَالنَّصَارَى يُؤَخِّرُونَ "
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The religion of Islam will remain dominant as long as people hasten to break the fast. Indeed, the Jews and Christians delay in breaking the fast."
