Hadith 2032

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was on a journey, so some of the companions kept fast and some did not. Those who did not fast showed determination and caution and performed the service tasks, while the fasting ones became weak and unable to do some work. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding this: "Today, those who did not fast have taken the reward."
