Hadith 2000
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَلاءِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ الْقَاسِمِ : أَسَمِعْتَ أَبَاكَ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُقَبِّلُهَا وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ ؟ " فَسَكَتَ عَنِّي سَاعَةً ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " نَعَمْ " . قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : خَرَّجْتُ هَذَا الْبَابَ بِتَمَامِهِ فِي كِتَابِ الْكَبِيرِ
Imam Sufyan (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that I asked Abdur Rahman bin Qasim, "Have you heard your noble father narrate this hadith from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would kiss Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) while he was fasting?" He remained silent for a while, then said, "Yes." Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I have explained this entire chapter in detail in the book Al-Kabir.
