Hadith 1995
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، نا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، نا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ . ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى ، نا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْمُبَارَكِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ لَمْ يَدَعْ قَوْلَ الزُّورِ وَالْعَمَلَ بِهِ ، فَلَيْسَ لِلَّهِ حَاجَةٌ بِأَنْ يَدَعَ طَعَامَهُ وَشَرَابَهُ " . هَذَا حَدِيثُ بُنْدَارٍ . وَفِي حَدِيثِ ابْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ : " وَالْعَمَلَ بِهِ وَالْجَهْلَ "
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever does not give up lying and acting upon it, then Allah has no need or concern for him leaving his food and drink." This is the narration of Janab Bundar. In the narration of Ibn al-Mubarak, it is: "If he does not give up acting upon lies and ignorant actions, then..."
