Hadith 1987
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ . ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ بُنْدَارٌ ، نا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ ، وَحَدَّثَنَا الصَّنْعَانِيُّ ، نا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، قَالُوا : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُطَوِّسِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ أَفْطَرَ يَوْمًا مِنْ رَمَضَانَ فِي غَيْرِ رُخْصَةٍ رَخَّصَهَا اللَّهُ ، لَمْ يَقْضِ عَنْهُ صَوْمُ الدَّهْرِ " . زَادَ فِي خَبَرِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ : " وَإِنْ صَامَهُ "
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever misses a fast of Ramadan without an allowance granted by Allah, then making up for that fast cannot be done even if he fasts for his entire life." In the narration of Muhammad bin Ja'far, there is this addition: "Even if he fasts (for his entire life), the compensation will not be fulfilled."
