Hadith 1983
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ ، عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلابَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي أَسْمَاءَ الرَّحَبِيِّ ، عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ ، قَالَ : خَرَجْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِثَمَانَ عَشَرَ مَضَتْ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ ، فَمَرَّ بِرَجُلٍ يَحْتَجِمُ ، فَقَالَ : " أَفْطَرَ الْحَاجِمُ وَالْمَحْجُومُ "
Sayyiduna Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that on the eighteenth of Ramadan, I went out with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he passed by a man who was having cupping done. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The fast of the one who gets cupping done and the one who does cupping is broken."
