Hadith 1946
نا يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ . ح وَأَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ ، أَنَّ ابْنَ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَهُمْ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ الْقَاسِمِ حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ حَدَّثَهُ , أَنَّ عَبَّادَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَائِشَةَ ، تَقُولُ : أَتَى رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فِي رَمَضَانَ ، فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ , احْتَرَقْتُ , فَسَأَلَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا شَأْنُهُ . فَقَالَ : أَصَبْتُ أَهْلِيَ . قَالَ : " تَصَدَّقْ " . قَالَ : وَاللَّهِ مَا لِي شَيْءٌ وَمَا أَقْدِرُ عَلَيْهِ . قَالَ : " اجْلِسْ " . فَجَلَسَ , فَبَيْنَمَا هُوَ عَلَى ذَلِكَ ، أَقْبَلَ رَجُلٌ يَسُوقُ حِمَارًا عَلَيْهِ طَعَامٌ , فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَيْنَ الْمُحْتَرِقُ ؟ " , فَقَامَ الرَّجُلُ , فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " تَصَدَّقْ بِهَذَا " . فَقَالَ : عَلَى غَيْرِنَا . فَوَاللَّهِ إِنَّا لَجِيَاعٌ , وَمَا لَنَا شَيْءٌ . قَالَ : " فَكُلُوهُ " . وَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ : قَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ , أَغَيْرَنَا فَوَاللَّهِ
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that a man came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) in the mosque during the blessed month of Ramadan and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I am ruined." So the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) asked him, "What has happened to him?" He replied that he had intercourse with his wife. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Give charity." He said, "By Allah, I have nothing and I do not have the ability to give charity." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Sit down." So he sat down. Meanwhile, as he was sitting, a man came driving a donkey, on which food was loaded. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "Where is the man who said he was ruined?" So that man stood up, and the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "Give this grain as charity." He said, "Should I give it in charity to someone other than myself? By Allah, we ourselves are hungry and have nothing." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Then you eat it yourselves." In the narration of Abdul Hakam, it is mentioned that he said, "O Messenger of Allah, should I give charity to someone other than myself? By Allah (we ourselves are hungry and needy)."
