حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ بُنْدَارٌ ، وَيَحْيَى بْنُ حَكِيمٍ ، قَالا : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، قَالَ بُنْدَارٌ : نا شُعْبَةُ ، وَقَالَ يَحْيَى : عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ جَبَلَةَ بْنِ سُحَيْمٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " الشَّهْرُ تِسْعٌ وَعِشْرُونَ "
Hazrat Hayat bin Suhaim narrates that I heard Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrating from the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: "The month consists of twenty-nine days."
