Hadith 1911
حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لا تُقَدِّمُوا هَذَا الشَّهْرَ حَتَّى تَرَوَا الْهِلالَ أَوْ تُكْمِلُوا الْعِدَّةَ "
Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not proceed beyond this month (Ramadan) until you see the moon or complete the counting (of Sha'ban)."
