Hadith 1878
نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ فَيَّاضٍ بَصْرِيٌّ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَنْبَسَةَ وَهُوَ الْقَطَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بُسْرٍ ، قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ بُسْرٍ صَاحِبَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " إِذَا صَلَّى الْجُمُعَةَ خَرَجَ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ قَدْرًا طَوِيلا ، ثُمَّ رَجَعَ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ فَيُصَلِّي مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ " . فَقُلْتُ لَهُ : يَرْحَمُكَ اللَّهُ لأَيِّ شَيْءٍ تَصْنَعُ هَذَا ؟ قَالَ : " لأَنِّي رَأَيْتُ سَيِّدَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هَكَذَا يَصْنَعُ " يَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَتَلا هَذِهِ الآيَةَ : فَإِذَا قُضِيَتِ الصَّلاةُ فَانْتَشِرُوا فِي الأَرْضِ وَابْتَغُوا مِنْ فَضْلِ اللَّهِ سورة الجمعة آية 10 إِلَى آخِرِ الآيَةِ "
Abdullah bin Busr narrates that I saw the companion of the Messenger of Allah, Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Busr (may Allah be pleased with him), that when he had performed the Friday prayer, he would leave the mosque and go very far. Then he would return to the mosque and perform as much prayer as Allah had destined for him. So I asked him, "May Allah have mercy on you, why do you do this?" He replied, "Because I saw the Chief of the Messengers, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), doing so." And he recited this verse « فَإِذَا قُضِيَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَانتَشِرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَابْتَغُوا مِن فَضْلِ اللَّهِ » [ سورة الجمعة : 10 ] "Then when the prayer is finished, disperse in the land and seek the bounty of Allah, and remember Allah much, so that you may succeed."
