Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to the tribe of Banu Amr bin Awf on a Wednesday. He saw things regarding the care and cultivation of dates that he had not seen before. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If you come on your Eid and stay until you hear my words, that would be very good." They replied, "Yes (we will certainly come), O Messenger of Allah, may our parents be sacrificed for you." Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) says that when they came on Friday, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) led them in the Friday prayer. Then after the Friday prayer, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed two rak'ahs in the mosque. Although the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was not seen performing two rak'ahs in the mosque after the Friday prayer before this; previously, after Jumu'ah, he would go home (and perform the voluntary prayer at home). Then the complete hadith was narrated.
