(187) بَابُ الصَّلَاةِ جَمَاعَةً فِي الْأَسْفَارِ187| Chapter on praying in congregation during travel
Hadith 1702
نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، نا مُحَمَّدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ جَعْفَرٍ ، نا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا إِسْحَاقَ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ حَارِثَةَ بْنِ وَهْبٍ الْخُزَاعِيِّ ، قَالَ : " صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمِنًى أَكْثَرَ مَا كُنَّا وَآمَنَهُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ "
Hazrat Harithah bin Wahb Khuzai reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) led us in a congregational prayer of two rak‘ahs at Mina, even though we were very many in number and we were in a state of complete security (there was no fear of the enemy at all).
