Hadith 1639
نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ ، وَيَحْيَى بْنُ حَكِيمٍ ، وَهَذَا حَدِيثُ يَحْيَى ، قَالا : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، نا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ الْبَرَاءِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " كَيْفَ أَنْتَ إِذَا بَقِيَتَ فِي قَوْمٍ يُؤَخِّرُونَ الصَّلاةَ عَنْ وَقْتِهَا ؟ " فَقَالَ لَهُ : " صَلِّ الصَّلاةَ لِوَقْتِهَا ، فَإِذَا أَدْرَكْتَهُمْ لَمْ يُصَلُّوا فَصَلِّ مَعَهُمْ ، وَلا تَقُلْ : إِنِّي قَدْ صَلَّيْتُ ، فَلا أُصَلِّي " . لَمْ يَقُلْ بُنْدَارٌ : " صَلِّ الصَّلاةَ لِوَقْتِهَا "
Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: "What will be your condition when you will be among people who delay the prayer from its (prescribed) time?" Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to them: "You should perform the prayer at its (prescribed) time. Then if you find them (the people) have not yet performed the prayer, then perform the prayer with them as well, and do not say, 'I have already performed the prayer, so I will not perform (the prayer) with them.'" Janab Bundar did not mention these words: "You should perform the prayer at its (prescribed) time."
